Outlook 2010 has several places that "show as conversations" needs to be
turned off, for the setting to stick:

- In the View tab of the ribbon, make sure "show as conversations" is not
  checked

- Click the "Change view" drop down menu, find the current view settings,
  click modify.
	Other settings: uncheck "show items in groups"
	Group by: uncheck "automatically group" and set "group items by" to "none"
	Sort: make sure "sort items by" is not set to "conversation"

- Finally, in the folder itself, right-click any column header, go to the
  "Arrange by" submenu, and make sure "show as conversations" is not checked.
